What Is Artificial Intelligence? Definition
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of ranging branch of computer science concerned with building smart machines capable of simulating human intelligence.
That means building machines capable of:
- learning (acquisition of information and rules to use information),
- reasoning (using rules to definite or approximate conclusions)
AI is an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches, but advancements in machine learning and deep learning are creating a paradigm shift in virtually every sector of the tech industry.
What is Machine Learning?
Machine learning is closely related to computational statistics, which focuses on making predictions using computers. In another way, Machine learning could be explained by development of computer programs that can access and use data for themselves.
Now, what is Deep Learning?
Deep learning, also known as Deep Neural Learning or Deep Neural Network (DNN), is a sub-domain of machine learning.
The main difference lies in algorithms inspired by the structure and function of the brain, that's why they're called them artificial neural networks. This machine learning field uses multilayer Deep Neural Networks to capture useful representations and abstractions for data such as images, sound, and text.
Particular applications of AI include : Image recognition,
speech recognition : Siri, Alexa and other personal assistants
Self-driving cars, chatbots.
